"We are now cruising at a level of two to the power of twenty-five thousand to one against and falling, and we will be restoring normality just as soon as we are sure what is normal anyway. Thank you."

Sometime yesterday morning, this blog was hijacked by insidious forces unknown, identifying themselves only as The New Management – a bunch of thuggish louts in support of a particular ruling coalition.
The one day take over by The New Management... and the mess they left behind
Walski was forced to disappear for a whole day, while he tried to reclaim myAsylum from these sycophantasmagorias. But his brief exile was not an idle one – he was quietly fighting back. From the deep, dark depths of imaginary oblivion.
And today, April 2nd, Walski has succeeded in reclaiming this blog. Perakians must be wishing that reclamation were that easy in real life…
Normality will soon be restored – and as you can see, some massive cleaning up is in progress. No thanks to the vandalism by them thuggish louts. Fortunately, no lasting pixel damage was left behind.
But the stains will take a while to remove…
(the real story, the concerns, and more, in the full post)
Okay, okay... enough with the melodrama, Walski. So, yeah, it was an April Fool’s day prank. Which some of you bought (yes, you did)… and actually raised some real concerns from a few of you, sending Walski e-mails and even text messages, to see if he was okay. Which Walski appreciates, by the way – very sweet of y’all.
Funny how life is sometimes – we get so caught up in doing our daily stuff, that we sometimes forget what date it is – which is the case with the few peeps expressing concern. Such is modern stressful life, Walski supposes.
And thanks, too, to those of you who played along, in particular Walski’s buddies Pah Nur, Antares and The Lord Panda.
You should be thankful that Hello Kitty didn’t make a reappearance…
For the Blogger-followers of this blog – not to worry. You are not the “next targets”… heh heh… The New Management has been silenced. Permanently. Walski cannot offer you further details than that. Otherwise you’d have to be silenced, too. Permanently.
But as always, there are deep considerations to whatever it is that Walski does on this blog, and the temporary banner change was not simply a banner change. There were hidden meanings – which he leaves as a reader exercise to figure out.
The banner change was fun to do, incidentally. And as some of you may recall, the banner does change from time to time. Seasonal changes, mostly. Walski wishes he had more time at his disposal. These banner changes are fun to do, but can be somewhat time consuming and tedious.
And in case you were wondering, yes, Walski will definitely pay the cleaners their overtime wages….
