The Bus did stop in Batu Talam. Permenantly.

Not that it was unexpected. Seriously. Ng Chee Pang got his ass whooped in the Batu Talam by-election today. A sad day for feng-tau and snooker, indeed.
Malaysiakini broke the news of the result earlier this evening, with the BN candidate, Abdul Aziz Kiram garnering a majority of 5,857 votes, versus Ng, who only got 419 votes. He also lost his RM 5,000 deposit.
The Bus, it seems, simply ran out of gas. And in the end, did stop at Batu Talam. Dead in its tracks.
But Walski applauds Ah Beng's courage to take on a juggernaut, with hardly any resources (in comparison), although he would probably have done better if Walski had been in charge (snicker, snicker). And being that the residents of Batu Talam were left with a no-brainer of an election, let's hope that the candidate-elect is able to serve his constituents to the best of his ability.
And not the other way around.
