Just when you thought it was safe to go back out and enjoy the fresh air... nothing ruins the day more than waking up to the smell of fresh-roasted Sumatera or Kalimantan. Fresh roasted Java, strangely enough is actually quite nice...
It's no wonder our "wonderful" neighbor Indonesia refuses to ratify the Asean Transboundary Haze Treaty (and while you're at it, also check out The Malaysian's post on the same subject). It would just impede upon their largest export to the Asean region, Malaysia in particular - the haze.
By the way, the follow-up to, and Walski's commentary on, the "Happy Deepavali" wish-prohibition may not be out today. Streamyx decided to f*cking crap out on Walski last night, and so this post comes to you courtesy of dial-up... And dealing with the noobs manning the Streamyx tech support line is just one experience that simply didn't add any quality to such a dreary day...
