YouTube’s Chad Hurley And Steve Chen Bookmark Delicious

YouTube co-founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen have acquired Delicious from Yahoo.

It marks what could be a re-birth for the longstanding bookmarking service, which was acquired by Yahoo back in 2005.

There has been speculation for months about who would buy Delicious, which still has a large user base, but a languishing product. In December news leaked of Yahoo’s plans to sell off Delicious, and users have scurried to find ways to download or transfer their bookmarks to other services. With Chen and Hurley in command, they may reconsider that move.
