Remember the post from a couple of weeks ago, where Walski highlighted that there was a fake Khairy Jamaluddin lurking around on Facebook?
Well, apparently the bastard noticed Walski's post.
Last monday, Walski received an e-mail from SocialMatic.com, a new social bookmarking site. Apparently, somebody had submitted myAsylum (this blog) to SocialMatic and accredited it to Khairy Jamaluddin...

... which Walski promptly ignored, thinking that it was some sort of spam. Well, guess what? Walski got another e-mail from them today...
(revenge is a dish best served anonymously, in the full post)

And then it struck Walski... could it be that the fake Facebook KJ was getting one back at Walski for hightlighting his/her exploits?
Needless to say, Walski wrote back explaining that he is NOT Khairy Jamaluddin, and that somebody else had falsified the submission. In the process, he found out that the site is not Malaysia based, and so they most likely wouldn't know of KJ.
One vindictive sonofabitch, if indeed it was him/her...
Walski not angry or anything, mind you - being a good sport and all that... but seriously, identity theft and taking credit for somebody else's body of work aren't nice things to do. Parodying is fine, but you need to at least hint that what you're doing is a parody...
Otherwise, you'd very likely be mistaken for one mean, dick-headed mo-fo...
Incidentally, Walski thanks the good folks at SocialMatic.com for e-mailing him to follow up on the submission. If you get a chance, do check them out - they're a social bookmarking site (similar to del.icio.us), but by submitting your post to SocialMatic, it automatically gets submitted to 12 other social bookmarking sites as well. Neat, huh? Walski hasn't signed up, but will seriously consider it.
So, once and for all, for the record: Walski is NOT Khairy Jamaluddin. Does NOT sound like him, look like him (Walski's slightly better looking), nor is Walski's real name Lingam, either.
