He's baaack....

Howdy, people!

Yes, after an almost week-long absence, Walski's back to the bloggerhood, somewhat refreshed, somewhat rejuvenated - despite the holiday itself being a tad bit tiring (more about that in a future post or three).

Walski went to what has to be Terengganu's best kept touristic secret - Pulau Gemia. Or Gem Island to some. If the name sounds familiar, that's where the injured baby dugong (found off Pulau Kapas in mid-August) is now being rehabilitated (and yes, Walski saw her).

And for four whole days, Walski was totally cut-off from the rest of the world. No newspapers, and no Internet (there was Astro, but only 3 channels). It took about a whole hour to come to terms with that. And it was a liberating feeling, of sorts. For the first time in a long while, Walski managed to not worry about work, or for that matter, about much else.

There's lots to tell, and lot's to write about. All in due time, though. For now, allow Walski to catch his breath for a bit. The serious flow of posts shall come... very soon.
