FIFA World Cup Deutschland 2006: Predictions So Far (Part 4)

The last of the big 4 games this weekend to decide who meets who in the semi-finals: Brazil vs France. Some have dubbed this as a re-play of the 1998 World Cup Finals in France, when Brazil performed dismally, losing to France 0-3.
Both teams got to a slow start in the group stages, but overall Brazil has been the better team of the two. France only woke up from a lacklustre group stage performance in their last Group G game with Togo. Brazil on the other hand won all 3 of their Group F matches, and performed well against Ghana in the round of sixteen, getting them to the quarter-finals.
France drew first blood with a Thierry Henry goal in the 57th minute. And that was enough for history to repeat itself. The French Jinx, perhaps?
And with that, champions Brazil bow out, paving the way for an all-European World Cup final this point on.
Final score Brazil 0 - 1 France.
Another one that Walski didn't predict correctly. But it's a major upset, and the streets of Rio de Janeiro will be quiet tonight....
